Terms and Conditions of Travel

These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made and services offered through the Airport Luxury Shuttles website www.airportLuxury, and all other associated websites, and to bookings made by telephone, fax, email, or any other communication mechanism. 


  1. What is the process for booking an airport shuttle?
    The most straightforward and hassle-free method to secure a reservation is by utilizing our online reservation system. Simply visit the Airport Luxury Shuttles webpage specific to your location, and click on "Book Now" to initiate the reservation process. Alternatively, you can contact the local Airport Luxury Shuttles office by phone to make your reservation.

  2. Having a reservation does not ensure that a shuttle will be ready for you in the event of a flight delay. If you happen to miss your initially scheduled shuttle, please wait for the next one heading to your destination. For inquiries regarding shuttle schedules, kindly contact your local Airport Luxury Shuttles office.

  3. Is it necessary to make shuttle reservations?
    To secure availability, we highly recommend making reservations. While we will make every effort to assist customers without prior notice, we cannot guarantee service for those without reservations.

1. Scheduled Shared Passenger Service

  1. We are currently operating up to 2 scheduled runs each day to/from San Francisco Airport, which must be pre-booked.

  2. These are Shared Passenger Services and you must be flexible with travel times and work in with other passengers.

  3. Shuttle service times are subject to change at Airport Luxury Shuttles' discretion for reasons due to weather conditions, road conditions, and/or operational requirements.

  4. Airport Luxury Shuttles reserves the right to upgrade passengers to a larger vehicle, at our discretion.

  5. Passengers on arriving flights must meet their shuttle driver at the advised location as soon as possible after disembarking.

2. Private Vehicle Charters

  1. Private Charters are available as an option if you would like more flexibility with pick-up or drop-off times.

  2. The vehicle supplied will be selected by Airport Luxury Shuttles.

  3. You may request a particular vehicle, however a surcharge of $50.00 will apply, and this will be subject to availability.

3. Payment for Travel & Booking and Waivers

  1. All travel must be paid for before the first date of travel.

  2. Credit Card payments are accepted but an additional charge of 3% will apply to all Visa and Mastercard credit card transactions, and American Express, and Discover transactions will incur a 3% additional charge.

  3. Waiver of Credit card chargeback Rights: Customer agrees that upon making a reservation with the Airport Luxury Shuttles, Inc, whether through online checkout, over the phone, or in person, Customer will not file, initiate, or pursue any credit card chargeback claim related to this transaction. This waiver applies to all reasons that may typically warrant a chargeback, including but not limited to dissatisfaction with the service/product, failure to deliver, or unauthorized transaction claims.

  4. Dispute Resolution: In the event of any issues or disputes regarding the reservation and services, Customer agrees to first contact the Airport Luxury Shuttles Inc directly to resolve the matter amicably. The Airport Luxury Shuttles Inc commits to making reasonable efforts to address and resolve any legitimate concerns raised by the Customer.

4. Prices

  1. All prices are shown in US dollars.

  2. A surcharge of 25% will apply on public holidays

  3. If the incorrect price is given at the time of booking, Airport Luxury Shuttles reserves the right to collect the correct amount before travel is commenced.

  4. Rates quoted are for addresses within 10 miles of the location selected.  Should your address proof to be beyond this range then we reserve the right to charge an additional $2.00 per mile if a longer transfer distance is required.

  5. Airport Luxury Shuttles reserves the right to change its prices at any time, however, existing bookings already made will be honored at the original price at the time of booking.

5. Cancellation Policy: Travel Booking Changes, Cancellations or Delays & Missed shuttles bus

  1. Any changes to your travel plans should be advised to us as soon as possible.

  2. Airport Luxury Shuttles takes no responsibility when flights arrive early or late.

  3. For passengers on arriving flights, any delays beyond 45 minutes from your scheduled flight arrival time must be advised to the Airport Luxury Shuttles office as soon as possible.  Failure to do so could mean your shuttle will leave without you and you will have to wait for the next shuttle. (NB: this will not apply to private charter bookings)

  4. We will monitor flight arrival times and endeavor to accommodate late arrivals where possible, however, you may have to wait for the next available scheduled shuttle if the original shuttle has had to leave without you. This will be done at no extra cost, as part of our service; however, please be aware that this may not be until the following day. (NB: this will not apply to private charter bookings)

  5. If you cancel a Door-to-Door service booking after confirmation but notify us more than 48 hours before the scheduled travel time, a cancellation fee of $50 per booking will apply.

  6. Cancellations made within 48 hours of collection / travel time are non-refundable.

  7. Bookings may be changed to an open-dated ticket, valid for 12 months from the date of the change, and will not incur the cancellation fee.

  8. Refunds will not be issued for any online or phone reservations made for Lite/Discount Fare journeys to or from the Sacramento base terminal or SFO International Airport. This is a "use it or lose it" policy, so please choose wisely.

  9. What if I miss my schedule departure? Similar to the airline industry, reservations are mandatory for all seats on Airport luxury shuttles, ensuring passengers travel at their designated time and date. Passengers must arrive at their departure point at least 30 minutes prior to departure. This procedure enables shuttle drivers to efficiently board passengers, minimizing potential delays. Refunds or credits will not be provided for missed shuttles.

6. Luggage allowance "door-to-door"

  1. The luggage allowance is one small (carry-on) and one large suitcase (up to 30 kgs or 66 lbs) per PAYING PASSENGER.

  2. Additional standard-size luggage items are carried at our discretion and must be pre-booked and pre-paid at a charge of $10.00 per item.

  3. We highly recommend that you carefully tally the number of extra bags you wish to include when making your reservation, as our policy strictly prohibits refunds for additional luggage fees; it's a "use it or lose it" policy.

  4. If upon pick-up, you have more luggage than was originally booked or notified, we reserve the right to charge an additional $20 per item.  This can be paid to your driver at the time of pick-up.

  5. Oversized (or extra heavy items) such as surfboards, cycles, golf clubs, etc. will be carried if pre-booked, at a charge of $15.00 per item, and the size and description must be disclosed at the time of booking.

  6. It is important to notify Airport Luxury Shuttles of any extra items before pick-up, as we may not have sufficient luggage space available.

  7. Airport Luxury Shuttles reserve the right to refuse carriage of luggage items that have not been booked or notified before pick-up.

  8. You may be required to assist our driver in loading your luggage.

  9. When traveling with us on a discounted fare, you can bring your luggage for an additional fee per bag, whether it's carry-on or checked luggage.

7. On-board Behaviour

  1. According to DOT and California state laws, it is mandatory for all passengers to stay seated throughout the vehicle's movement and securely fasten their seat belts.

  2. In adherence to Airport Luxury Shuttle's policy, the consumption of alcoholic beverages, smoking, and eating are strictly prohibited within our vehicles.

  3. In the event of unruly or rude behavior from passengers, Airport Luxury Shuttle enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy. Any form of misconduct or disrespectful behavior is not allowed, as our primary concern is to ensure the comfort and safety of all our passengers. To maintain a pleasant and secure environment, we reserve the right to refuse service to passengers who do not comply with our standards of conduct. Additionally, we may remove any disruptive individuals from the shuttle at any point during the journey, in accordance with the fullest extent of the law. Our commitment to a high-quality service experience means that we take these measures seriously to uphold the well-being of everyone on board.

8. Child Passengers

  1. When traveling with an adult, children under 6 months and 0 years travel free of charge.

  2. Airport Luxury Shuttles will accept bookings for unaccompanied children (ages at our discretion)

  3. We must have paperwork consenting to travel for the unaccompanied child signed by a guardian before departure, and again by the designated person meeting the children on arrival.

  4. Each unaccompanied child will be charged at an adult rate.

  5. Airport Luxury Shuttles do provide car seats for children and is available to rent per trip. 

  6. If you are traveling with children, infants, or babies, you are welcome to use your car seat or booster seat and will be required to install it into the Airport Luxury Shuttles vehicle.

  7. We are happy to store your car seat or booster seat at our depot until your return for $20.00.

9. Special Assistance

  1. Passengers who require somebody to lift them on and off the vehicle must arrange for these services at their pick-up and drop-off points.

  2. For Health and Safety reasons, our drivers are not permitted to participate in carrying passengers on and off the vehicle.

  3. Currently, our shuttles are not equipped with a wheelchair lift. 

10. Animals

  1. Guide dogs are welcome on Airport Luxury Shuttles vehicles. Please notify the presence of your guide dog at the time you make your reservation.

  2. All other domestic pets must be in a pet carrier while on board.

11. Loss or damage

  1. Loss or damage of your items or luggage through theft or negligence is not the responsibility of Airport Luxury Shuttles.

  2. Airport Luxury Shuttles recommends Travel Insurance for all passengers.

12. Dangerous Goods

  1. For safety reasons, articles classified as dangerous goods must not be carried in your baggage unless they have been advised in writing to Airport Luxury Shuttles before travel; and they have been accepted for carriage in writing by Airport Luxury Shuttles. 

  2. These include but are not limited to: Loaded firearms, corrosive materials (such as alkalis, acids, wet cell batteries, mercury), explosives (fireworks and articles that are easily ignited), flammable liquids and solids (such as heater fuels, and flammable aerosols), poisonous, toxic or infectious substances, compressed gases (deeply refrigerated, flammable, non-flammable and poisonous), other dangerous goods (such as offensive or noxious materials).

13. Events beyond our control

  1. You acknowledge in the event of any environmental “Acts of God“ (earthquake, weather, or any other naturally occurring emergency events), global emergencies (war, pandemics, etc), or operationally disruptive events (unforeseen traffic congestion, civil event disruption, etc) arising, that, whilst employing its best efforts to deliver transport services to you during such events, Airport Luxury Shuttles inc may not be able to provide the timely delivery of such services to you.

  2. You acknowledge that should such unforeseen events arise, it is your sole responsibility to monitor such events and make changes to your travel plans with Airport Luxury Shuttles Inc or other transport providers to mitigate any such risk these events present to your travel plans by the terms and conditions stated herein.

  3. In any of these situations (or any situation beyond the control of ALS) Airport Luxury Shuttles reserves the right to convert affected bookings into open-dated, transferrable tickets, without issuing refunds. Any bookings affected may be transferred to family or friends, and will be valid for use for 24 months.

14. Modification of Terms and Conditions

  1. Airport Luxury Shuttles reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time in its sole discretion, without notice or liability to you.

  2. You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as modified.

  3. Please review the most current version of the Terms and Conditions from time to time, so that you will be apprised of any changes.

15. Firearms and Ammunition

Passengers are strictly forbidden from bringing weapons onto the bus or in their carry-on belongings. However, federal or local law enforcement officers may be exempt from this restriction while on duty. If passengers need to transport weapons, they should place them in suitcases. Firearms must be securely stored in a locked, hard-sided case within the suitcase and declared to an Airport Luxury Shuttles representative during check-in. It is important to note that ammunition is not allowed in any carry-on bag.

16. Lost Items - What if I leave something on a shuttle?

Airport Luxury Shuttles bears no responsibility for lost or damaged items. Nevertheless, if you have inadvertently left something behind, kindly contact your local office, and we will make every effort to facilitate the return of your belongings to you.

17. Discount fares:

Discount fares do not include any checked bags and are non-refundable.
These promotional deals are exclusively applicable to San Francisco International Airport trips and are not valid for other locations.
​This promotional offer is valid for travel from February 1st to July 31st, 2024. All sales are final and to qualify for a one-way discount fare of $49.95, you must book a roundtrip journey 30 days in advance of your travel date between the South Sacramento office terminal (Sacramento 95828) and SFO International Airport, or between SFO International Airport and Base Station Sacramento.

Please note that this offer does not apply to door-to-door service.
The advertised price pertains to each passenger and does not cover suitcases or luggage items, which are subject to a $7.95 fee per piece. Taxes and fees are excluded from this promotional offer and will be invoiced separately during the booking process. please keep in mind that these are non-refundable fares including luggage fees at all times.
Additionally, this promotion cannot be combined with coupon deals or reservations that have already been confirmed. Please note that we retain the right to decline shuttle service to any individual.​
Passengers are strongly recommended to choose their preferred travel time, as we cannot assume responsibility for missed, delayed, or even canceled flights.

18. Shuttle Waiting Time Terms and Conditions:

Upon initial pickup as scheduled, the shuttle service will wait for a grace period of up to .50 hours (30 minutes) free of charge. Should the waiting time extend beyond this grace period, the following terms and conditions will apply:

1. Waiting Fee:  After .50 hours (30 Minutes) of waiting beyond the scheduled pickup time, a waiting fee of $15.00 will be imposed for every subsequent 15-minute increment or part thereof

2. Calculation of Waiting Time: Waiting time will be calculated from the scheduled pickup time as agreed upon during booking.

3. Payment Responsibility: The waiting fee is the responsibility of the passenger or the party responsible for booking the shuttle service.

4. Notification: The shuttle service provider will make reasonable efforts to notify the passenger or the booking party regarding the extension of waiting time and the imposition of waiting fees.

5. Payment Method: Waiting fees will be collected upon completion of the shuttle service, along with any other applicable charges.

6. Discretion of the Service Provider: The shuttle service provider reserves the right to determine the waiting time and apply waiting fees based on factors such as traffic conditions, unforeseen delays, or other circumstances beyond their control.

7. Cancellation or Rescheduling: Passengers are encouraged to inform the shuttle service provider in advance if there are any changes in schedule or if cancellation is necessary to avoid waiting fees.

8. Liability: The shuttle service provider shall not be held liable for any inconvenience, losses, or damages incurred due to extended waiting time beyond the initial grace period.

9. Acknowledgment: By utilizing the shuttle service, passengers or booking parties acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions regarding waiting time and associated fees.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By proceeding with the shuttle service, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions in full. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the shuttle service provider for clarification before utilizing the service.

Shuttle Passenger Transportation Drop Policy

Purpose: This policy aims to establish guidelines for shuttle passengers regarding drop-off destinations to ensure efficient scheduling and timely transportation services.

Policy Statement:

1. Confirmation of Drop-off Location: Upon booking a shuttle trip, passengers are required to specify their desired drop-off location. This ensures accurate planning and scheduling of shuttle routes.

2. Adherence to Confirmed Drop-off Location: Once a passenger has confirmed their drop-off location at the time of booking, any subsequent change to the drop-off destination after boarding the shuttle is not permissible.

3. Pre-arranged Appointments: Shuttle drivers plan their routes based on the confirmed drop-off locations provided by passengers. Any deviation from these pre-arranged routes can disrupt the schedules and commitments of both the driver and other passengers.

4. No Onboard Alterations: Passengers must understand that altering the drop-off location after boarding the shuttle is not acceptable, as it may inconvenience other passengers and disrupt the operational efficiency of the shuttle service.

5. Exceptional Circumstances: In rare cases of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, passengers may request a change in drop-off location. However, such requests will be accommodated at the discretion of the shuttle driver and subject to feasibility without significantly impacting the established schedule.

Enforcement: Failure to comply with this policy may result in denial of service or additional charges, depending on the circumstances and impact of the alteration on the shuttle service.

Communication: Passengers are encouraged to communicate their drop-off preferences accurately at the time of booking to avoid any inconvenience or disruption to the shuttle service.

Review: This policy will be periodically reviewed and updated as necessary to ensure its effectiveness in maintaining efficient shuttle operations and customer satisfaction.
